The New 2013 Kawasaki ZX14r

The all new Kawasaki ZX14r is Kawasaki's fastest motorcycle. Its the only competition to Suzuki's Hayabusa and both of these bikes are on a class of their own. This year Kawasaki has introduced bigger brakes for a better stopping power and an all new ABS system to help you during slippery conditions. The new 2013 Kawasaki ZX14r also comes in multiples colours. This bike increases its balance as speeds increase. this is due to the gyroscope effect which helps it stay up during higher speeds. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX014R is one of the most desired sportbikes in the industry. This two-wheel beast made its debut last year and in 2013 continues to keep the standards high when it comes to speed, agility and state of the art technologies.The motorcycle was built around a 1,441cc inline-four, liquid cooled, DOHC, engine that puts out more power than any other production sportbike on the planet. The engine is mated on a six-speed transmission and you also get a KTRC traction-control system that features three different selectable modes. Each mode can be easily selected using a convenient switch mounted on the left handlebar. To offer a perfect balance, the engine is positioned forward in the frame, a position that improves the motorcycle’s stability at high speeds. As far as safety is concerned the bike is available with an optional ABS system and standard front and rear petal disc brakes. This bike needs no introduction, its the king of super bikes and ranks as one of the fastest manufactured bikes out there in the market. You don’t have to look much farther than the speedometer to see what sort of motorcycle this is. For starters, you couldn’t fit a hummingbird’s pecker between the 5 mph increments on the analog speedo as it takes your eyes from 0 to 185 mph. Just know that you’re probably not going as fast as it says; yet you're definitely going faster than you should be.Welcome to the Hayabusa. Same as it ever was. Big, comfy and extremely fast, i.e. a bit bi-polar.The first Hayabusa was introduced to the world as a 1999 model – named after the Japanese peregrine falcon, a small hawk generally regarded as the world’s fastest flying bird. And it took our breath away – the bike, not the hawk – but who knew back then that it would turn into one of the company’s most popular models. In 2003, the model took on some technical mods – most notably setting changes to the fuel-injection system and an upgraded ECU. In 2008 the Hayabusa got a complete makeover with new styling and a bump in capacity from 1299cc to the 1340cc it retains today. For 2013, the Hayabusa has been further refined and gets ABS for the first time as well as Brembo monobloc brakes (it had Tokicos) up front – making it a clean sweep as all the Suzuki sportbikes now feature the monobloc Brembos. The diameter of the pistons is also bigger – from 32-30mm to 32 to 32mm – thus giving more force on the disc and increased initial bite. The ABS control unit is located under the fuel tank and below the air box and the system uses sensors on both wheels to detect locking. Due to its masive power, Masive brakes, and its reputation. The New 2013 Kawasaki ZX10r

The all new 2013 Kawasaki ZX10r is one of the best liter bikes out there in the market. Its been redone and is a completely different type of beast compared to its predecessor. The looks of the 2013 liter bike are very different from the previous generation Ninja, and styling cues have been taken from Kawasaki’s erstwhile MotoGP effort. The angular streamlining, shorty exhaust and abbreviated tail section are all clearly taken straight from the race bike.For 2013, Kawasaki didn’t have to change much, and the ZX-10R returns as a carry-over model with a few upgrades, including an Öhlins-Kawasaki electronic steering damper.Immediate impressions are favorable, as the Ninja feels well balanced, and the riding position, although committed of course, is relatively comfortable. The large instrument pod is easy to read to the point where the large sweep rev counter/programmable shift light across the top in bright yellow is a little distracting.The four-cylinder engine displaces 998cc and is redlined at a heady 14,500 RPM. Clearly there are several good reasons that Colin Edwards’ MotoGP team (NGM Mobile Forward Racing) chooses to run the Kawasaki ZX-10R motor in its CRT entry this year. My immediate impression is how unusually smooth it is; very few vibes reach the rider. The prodigious power output — claimed to be well in excess of 200 horsepower — is delivered through a precise and easy-shifting six speed gearbox and slipper clutch.

The fueling is well mapped through 47 mm throttle bodies, and despite the enormous power the Ninja is very easy to ride; dual fuel injectors ensure on/off throttle transitions are smooth even if you’re a bit ham-fisted with the throttle. This is an amazing bike, its powerful fast and it feels like a 600cc sport bike. therefore, this sport bike enthusiast gives the new ZX10r a 5/5 stars.

The new 2013 BMW S1000RR

This exotic beast shocked the world when it first came out. It is a liter bike that can compete with much bigger bikes like the Hayabusa. The new 2013 BMW S1000RR is considered to be the top of the liter bike class. its horse power, handling, and braking blows the competition out of the water. Personally I'm not a big fan of the looks but the staggering figure's are beastly. While it’s fair to say the potent 160-hp bike received a lot of attention with its edgy, multi-angled looks, low nose and high tail, the 2011 S1000rr is not really a naked. Rather, thanks to two large body panels flanking the powerplant, plus a pair of lower coverings, it’s more of a “scantily clad” bike in our book. Directly derived from the S1000rr with its aluminum perimeter frame, the claimed-456-lb.-wet 2014 S1000R has been designed to offer good everyday comfort while still being able to tear up the tarmac like few other sporty bikes. The formula begins with BMW’s familiar 999cc inline-4, retuned to deliver improved low- and midrange power and torque for better real-world performance and acceleration, aided by a programmable quickshifter. According to BMW, the S1000rr engine puts out 160 hp at 11,000 rpm, and 83 pound-feet of torque at 9,250. More intriguing, BMW says the “ride-by-wire” E-gas engine puts out 7 more pound-feet of torque than the S100RR’s engine below 7,500 rpm. Much of the improvement in low-end response, says BMW, can be attributed to redesigned cylinder head ports, modified cam profiles and revised engine management. The New 2013 Ducati Panigale 1199r

The new 2013 Ducati Panigale 1199r is one of the most beautiful bikes out there in the market. Its more powerful and lighter compared to its predecessor. Lighter weight and more power can only equal to one thing and that is acceleration and top speed. This monster of a bike will launch you from 0-100km in only 2.8 seconds. Due to its light weight, this bike is easy take around a corner at high speeds. At the time when it was released in 2011 this bike was considered to be the most powerful bike in its class with 195 horsepower going to its rear wheel. The 1199r is also one of the first sport bikes to feature electronically adjustable suspension.

The Ducati 1199 Panigale comes with a slew of features that include the Full TFT Instrument Panel which allows you to easily view a lot of information on the panel, M50 Monoblock calipers are an exclusive feature to the 1199 Panigale for higher rigidity and resistance. LED lights wrap around and provide better safety as you will be seen better and the Engine Brake Control (EBC) which will keep the rpms and wheels at the right speed to help keep you under control while slipping occurs.

The 1199r model also incorporates a few external tweaks including a taller windscreen for high-speed comfort, an aero piece added to the fairing, an exposed aluminum finish on the tank, and a grippier seat fabric, as well as the obligatory carbon treatment on the front fender and the swingarm cover, among other places. And speaking of swingarms, the 1199 R's is equipped with an adjustable pivot with two positive and four negative positions, offering a low-tech way of adjusting the bike's wheelbase so agility or stability can be fine-tuned according to rider preferences or track setup. This system was developed to make the rider feel safer and more natural, unlike other bikes where the traction control effects it so much to the point where it begins to feel unnatural. Another great thing about this bike is the instrumentation which includes everything a rider wants to know, including gear position

It's mean, green and a beast of a machine, Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce to you the new 2013 Kawasaki ninja ZX6r motorcycle. It's nimble and powerful which is exactly what this sportbike enthusiast is looking for. Today I'll be talking about the pros and cons of this beast of a machine. Lets begin with one of the most important pros of this bike which is... power, the extra 36cc displacement means its one of the most powerful 600's around. In addition, due to its nimbleness this is one of the easiest bikes to go around the corners in the track. This bike is also a popular bike for the stunt crowd which means that parts for this bike won't be too hard to find. Another pro for this bike is the new ABS and traction control they introduced with this years model, which will help you get out of some sticky situations.

Now lets move to the cons, and one of them is the cost of the ABS model. It's too expensive for some and other bikes with the same feature are a lot cheaper. Another con for this bike is its weight, its one of the heavier 600cc sporbikes out there today. In addition, this bike has some things that I'm not too happy or personally too fond of and one of them is the tank shape which I find weird, but then again that's just me. This bike also has some dull looking plastic pieces which kind of makes the bike look cheap.

Over all this bike is a great bike, the pros certainly out weigh the cons by a pretty big margin. In conclusion this sportbike enthusiast gives the new 2013 Kawasaki ninja ZX6r a 5/5 stars.

The New 2013 CBR600rr

The CBR600rr is Honda's middle weight sportbike and for 2013 the CBR600rr received a new body work which this sport bike enthusiast believes to be the best looking 2013 middle weight sport bike. This body work not only looks good but also lowers the drag by 6.25 compared to the previous year's model. A feature that makes the CBR600rr stand out compared to its competitors is its fuel gauge. This feature helps the rider determine the amount of fuel he has left and when to stop for fuel. Due to the fact that its a honda the CBR600rr are considered to be a reliable sport bike. As long as the maintenance is kept up these bikes should last you a long time. In addition, the part availability for the CBR600rr is great, you can find any part for a low cost and with ease. The CBR600rr is also one of the lightest middle weight sportbikes out there. 

The cons of the CBR600rr is that the exhaust is located in the under tail. This creates a high center of gravity which is something you don't want because it makes the bike harder to balance. The Exhaust location under the seat also adds extra weight because of the heat shields required to keep the rear seat from burning. However, this is a very minor con, therefore this Sport bike enthusiast gives the 2013 CBR600rr a 5/5 stars

The New 2013 Suzuki GSX-R 600

The GSX-R 600 is a middle weight sport bike made by Suzuki. It is considered to be one of the most comfortable sport bikes in its class. Although its not the fastest middle weight bike it makes up for it by making the rider feel comfortable and safe. The GSX-R 600 is known for being the jack of all trades. It does not excel in any category i.e. handling, top speed, acceleration, braking and etc. however it has a good balance of everything. The GSX-R 600 also has an A and B mode, which is the different modes of power. Mode A uses 100% of the GSX-R's power while mode B uses only 60%. This option is great for new riders who are moving up from a 250 cc bike or riders who want to start on a 600cc middle weight bike. The GSX-R 600 is also unique in the way it makes its power, its very smooth and is always in the right RPM when your riding it.

The cons to this bike is that it lacks a fuel gauge, which might be dangerous during long commutes. There aren't too many cons about this bike, it's a great bike over all. Due to its great balance of its handling, breaking, acceleration, and top speed, this sport bike enthusiast gives the all new 2013 GSX-R 600 a 5/5 stars.

The New 2013 Yamaha R6

The New 2013 Yamaha R6 is designed for track oriented riders, it uses its power efficiently and its great out of the corner. The new Yamaha R6 has a stiff chasey which is perfect for the track and getting great lap times. The 2013 R6 gives its riders the raw feeling of excitement. However, the 2013 R6 hasn't really been changed that much in the last 5 years which is causing it to fall behind its other 600cc competitors. The 2013 Yamaha R6 is considered to be a bigger bike therefore its not as nimble compare to its competitors. The R6 lacks in the low end power however, compared to its competitors its much cheaper on insurance, has a great MPG and is the cheapest compared to other 600cc sportbikes.

Due to its light weight the Yamaha R6 is easy to handle for smaller riders. The Yamaha R6 is also considered to be one of the better looking 600 cc motorcycles. In addition, the tires on the R6 last a lot longer compared to its competitors. The R6 is designed for experienced riders, if you are a rider who plans to start out with the R6 you might have some problems due to its power. The 2013 Yamaha R6 has a lot of pros however, due to its lack of technology and old platform design, this sport bike enthusiast gives the new 2013 Yamaha R6 a 4/5.

The New 2013 CBR500R

The all new CBR500R is Honda's answer to the 2013 Kawasaki ninja 300. The CBR500R is targeted for customers who are looking to start on something a bit larger than a 250 or 300 cc bike. The CBR500R is designed for comfort and long distance travelling. Although it might not handle as good as the ninja 300, it does make up for it with its larger torque and horse power. A problem for many taller riders who are interested in learning to ride motorcycles is the leg room that some of the smaller cc bikes lack. This is where the CBR500R excels, it's tailored for taller riders who seek more power but at the same time start on something that's learner friendly.

More power is something that most beginner riders seek after their first year of riding. The CBR500R has 500cc which is more than enough for highway riding. If you are a person who is interested in learning to ride but don't plan to switch into a larger bike anytime soon, then this is the bike for you. The only cons to this bike is its handling and top speed, However due to its power, comfort and ease of riding, this sport bike enthusiast, gives the CBR500R a 4/5 stars.

The New 2013 Ninja 300

This year Kawasaki has unveiled their new ninja 300 and this bike sure looks great. The ninja 300 is the replacement for the Kawasaki ninja 250 which was one of the best beginner bikes in the market during its time. The features that the ninja 300 has which separates it from its competitors are its new slipper clutch, fuel injection, low seat height and the new aerodynamic bodywork design which shares some of its features found on its older brothers, the Kawasaki ninja zx6r and zx10r.

The ninja 300 has all the recipes needed for a great starter bike, it is nimble, has a great MPG (60+) and is cheap on insurance. If you are a person who is interested in getting a motorcycle as your first bike, this is the bike for you. 

The ninja 300 is not only for beginners but also for riders with plenty of experience. Thanks to its boost in power, it is able to keep up with much bigger bikes while riding through twisty roads. The new ninja 300 can cover over 60 miles using only a gallon of fuel, which is a great feature for people who enjoy going on long distance road trips. In addition, the ninja 300 has an up right seating position which provides comfort for its rider. In conclusion, this sport bike enthusiast (and I'm sure others will agree) gave the new 2013 ninja 300 a 5/5 stars
